Together with iFit, the manufacturer of our unique and innovative reformers, we have developed a training program that combines classic elements from Joseph Pilates with modern training approaches. With a special focus on quality, precision and technological excellence

What makes our training special?

• Absolute practical focus: you will not only learn the theory – you will be teaching from day one. Our academy is made for you to step into the role of a Pilates instructor
• Hands-on learning in a personal studio atmosphere – practice directly on the reformers and train under the guidance of experienced trainers.
• Direct access to ReformRX expertise – learn from ReformRX's master teachers, who teach worldwide and can be seen in the video workouts on our studio screens.
• Full use of our studios & reformers for self-study and private practice
• 20 hours of observation – at least 10 hours of watching, another 10 hours possible through active participation
• 30 hours of self-practice – free of charge in all JOSEF P Studios outside of course hours
• Workbook & learning materials for further study

Training structure:

Weekend 1 – Foundation & Basics

• Strengthening the foundation in the exercises

• Prerequisite: Knowledge of anatomy

• Optional: Anatomy course on site or online.

Weekend 2 – Working with the box

• Review and reinforcement of the basics

• Training with Long Box & Short Box

• Building a solid foundation for advanced exercises

Weekend 3 – Jumpboard & individual in-depth study

• Content is adapted to the group.

• Jumpboard module

• Focus on the basics so that all levels can be taught safely.

Practical requirements during training

You may take these hours in every JOSEF P location!

• 20 hours of observation: Learn by watching. You may take 10 of those 20 hours by taking part in a class yourself. This is not included in the academy price.

• 30 hours of self-practice : Free training in the studios outside of class times.

• Digital Learning: Access to ReformRX video workouts on the studio screens for inspiration and further study.

Final examination

• Practical: Interactive teaching unit with examiner
