Studio manager (m/f/d) – JOSEF P Pilates Studio & Café, Palma de Mallorca

Your role at JOSEF P:

As studio manager, you will be responsible for the operational and cultural management of our JOSEF-P-Studio in Palma de Mallorca.

You are responsible for the daily interplay between Pilates, café, team and community, ensuring that our premium standards for quality, service and atmosphere are always evident.

You are a host, leader, trainer and organizational professional in one role – present in the studio, close to the team and with a sure sense for people, processes and brand.

Your areas of responsibility:

Studio tour & organization

  • Overall responsibility for Pilates studio and café at the Palma location
  • Planning, controlling and optimizing daily business
  • Implementation and control of all JOSEF-P standards and processes
  • Duty scheduling, task coordination and prioritization
  • Responsibility for order, cleanliness, hygiene and studio atmosphere

Team Leadership & Culture

  • Leadership and development of the entire studio team (trainers & café)
  • Onboarding and training of new employees
  • Regular feedback and development discussions
  • Actively embodying the JOSEF-P corporate culture
  • Ensuring a positive, professional team spirit

Premium Customer Experience & Community

  • First point of contact for members, guests and team
  • Ensuring a warm, personal and professional approach
  • Customer support (on-site & digital)
  • Implementation of community events and local collaborations
  • Building and maintaining the JOSEF-P community in Palma

Pilates training & training quality

  • Teaching own Reformer Pilates classes (approx. 6–10 per week)
  • Ensuring and further developing training standards
  • Support, feedback and quality assurance within the coaching team
  • Participation in the selection and training of new trainers
  • Optimization of course schedules and capacity utilization
  • Combining live training and digital screen formats

Café Management & Hospitality

  • Responsibility for all café operations and quality standards
  • Ensuring hygiene, cleanliness and service quality
  • Monitoring of inventory and orders
  • Training and onboarding of new café employees

Numbers, quality & further development

  • Analysis of key performance indicators (capacity utilization, revenue, retention, satisfaction)
  • Derivation and implementation of measures in case of deviations
  • Responsibility for the efficiency and profitability of the site
  • Daily quality checks and quick resolution of operational issues

You bring the following:

· Residence in Mallorca (requirement)

· Excellent written and spoken German, English, and Spanish skills

· Management experience in a studio, fitness, hospitality or lifestyle environment

· A completed Pilates trainer training and experience in teaching Pilates (ideally Reformer)

· High service and quality orientation

· Organizational strength, personal responsibility and a hands-on mentality

· Strong communication skills, empathy, and enjoyment of team leadership
